Macquarie Bank Site

The previous Macquarie website offered a hard to navigate site with minimal organisation and structure as well as basic online service to its users. Together with the experience design team at DT Agency, along came an idea to transform and give a new vision to improve the website experience.

Enhancing the digital banking services to create a better online experience for the client base was an integral part in the process. As part of this digital journey, a series of exciting changes were implemented. The website was designed to house all the information a customer needs combined with new enhancements that the user would only dream of having at their fingertips.

The design challenge designing this website was to make financial banking much more accessible, sophisticated and easy to use with less clicks and clean organised data. While numbers and data can be mundane, the excitement was in making certain UI elements have a life of confidence when displaying this information. Imagery, iconography and highlight colours were an important part of displaying information. Initially setting the design system up was a rewarding exercise.

The Solution

Heavily concentrating on smart and agile UX and UI, this responsive website was a large scale project part of a team of experienced and professional UX and UI Designers collaborating together on an end goal, seamless functionality and beautiful design execution.
