Setting The Scene
Upon starting my role at Lendlease, the Podium digital team had zero to no established assets, components, pattern libraries or tangible designs. In fact there was no Product Design team formed at all and it was a very ‘tech heavy’ led team who claimed many all encompassing titles including UX/UI. The way in which the role was presented to me was that it would be challenging and a mammoth task. Challenge accepted!
Below are some snippets of screens of components and pattern libraries which needed to be established to form an early round design system which we could build on, iterate over time based on customer needs and business requirements as the project matured.
